Netflix’s The Witcher: Fan Favorite Character From The Witcher 3 Reportedly Coming in Season 2

Netflix’s The Witcher is reportedly set to feature two new witchers, Lambert and Coën, in the upcoming second season of the fantasy drama.
Redanian Intelligence reports that Lambert will be played by Peaky Blinders actor Paul Bullion, while Strike Back star Yasen Atour will be stepping up to portray Coën. It is expected that these two characters will join Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia for three episodes.Lambert should be a familiar name to fans of CD Projekt Red’s Witcher video game series, as he played a significant role in the main campaign of the third installment. He frequently crossed paths with Geralt of Rivia, who he seemed to hold a deep-seated resentment towards in spite of their similar talents.

Coën, on the other hand, played an important part in Blood of Elves, the novel in Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher saga, as he famously helped Lambert and Geralt to train Ciri in the art of sword combat at the ruined fortress of Kaer Morhen, which possibly indicates how these characters stories will intersect in Season 2.

These two characters join newcomer Violet, “a young girl whose playful and whimsical demeanour is a front for a smarter and more sadistic character,” played by Dolittle actress Carmel Laniado.
